North Macedonian police release footage of seizure of 2 tons of dried cannabis flowers (VIDEO)

Today, through a police operation, over two tons of dried cannabis flowers were confiscated from a legal entity in Zelenikovo.

“From the facility of the legal entity for the production of cannabis for medical purposes, located in the municipality of Zelenikovo, 2014 kilograms of dried flowers from the cannabis plant were seized,” the Police reported.

The seized cannabis has been placed in the warehouse of the Seized Property Management Agency.

“Cannabis was confiscated from the 43-year-old leader Sh.F., who comes from the Republic of Turkey, due to irregularities found, in violation of the Law on the Control of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances,” explained the Police. The Police have filed a criminal complaint against the legal entity and the leader based on Article 95-v.

A police force has shared a video showing the inside of a large cannabis farm during a raid.

Leicestershire Police said it had exercised a search warrant at the premises near Burbage in Leicestershire on Wednesday.

According to the force, £300,000 worth of cannabis was seized during the raid.

It said Vani Budkaj, 42, and Gazion Kraja, 22, both of no fixed address, had been charged with producing a controlled drug of Class B and remanded into custody.

They will appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on 11 August.

A third man – a 38-year-old from Coventry – was arrested on suspicion of the same offence but released on police bail while inquiries continue.
