The Vermont Cannabis Control Board (CCB) hosted a peer networking event in April to help licensed operators better understand inventory tracking responsibilities. The Compliance and Enforcement Division emphasized that all cannabis growers are required to use the state’s official Inventory Tracking System to remain in compliance with licensing regulations.
To support cultivators and other licensees, the CCB has made inventory tracking forms available through the CCB Portal. These forms are essential tools for reporting and managing inventory activity in accordance with state requirements.
In addition to the forms, the CCB has published a comprehensive Inventory Tracking Guidance Document which outlines detailed instructions for proper system usage. To further help licensees, a series of instructional videos is available on YouTube, providing demonstrations of how to correctly complete each type of inventory form.
The video series includes:
Peer Networking Event: Inventory Tracking (April 9, 2025)
Manufacturer forms demonstration
Acquisition forms demonstration
These video demonstrations reflect the most recent updates and enhancements to the Inventory Tracking System, offering step-by-step walkthroughs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Growers and licensees are reminded that failure to accurately track inventory using the required system may constitute a license violation. Such violations are subject to enforcement actions, including formal referrals for non-compliance.
