Meet the VEAZY

The VEAZY is less than a month old, and it’s already making a splash. It’s not hard to figure out why—STORZ & BICKEL has never been more chic or beginner-friendly. They haven’t skimped on quality either—the VEAZY is made from high-quality PEEK plastic that can take more than a few knocks and remain completely functional. And even if something insane happens to your VEAZY that impairs its vaping ability, like a meteor strike or a fall from a skyscraper,  STORZ & BICKEL will cover the repairs under their standard two-year warranty. 

Under the hood, the VEAZY’s got an impressive amount of hardware for its slim size. It uses the same combination of convection and conduction heating that S&B uses in their pricier models, plus a slick three-part cooling unit that keeps the vapor at a comfortable temperature. You’ll get about six sessions out of a charge on the VEAZY’s one internal battery, and thanks to quick USB-C charging, you’ll be able to recharge the battery in around forty minutes.

Overall, it’s a lean, streamlined vaporizer, built to be a go-anywhere, do-anything companion that’s got everything you need for a quick, satisfying sesh without any unnecessary baggage. 

The family resemblance

If you’re familiar with the STORZ & BICKEL family of products, you can think of the VEAZY as a sort of VENTY-lite. It uses a similar design as the VENTY, but it’s a good deal smaller, measuring around 5.2”x1.4”x1.5”. That’s around the same size and shape as an electric trimmer, and you can expect the VEAZY to fit in virtually any bag or deep pocket without much fuss. Plus, it can double as an incredible impromptu karaoke microphone. 

It also removes the VENTY’s LED screen, opting for a single-button setup similar to the one present on STORZ & BICKEL’s other pocket-sized vaporizer, the CRAFTY. Just a single press begins your session, and additional presses activate the boost and super boost modes. A single LED cycles between two colors to let you know when your VEAZY is heating or ready to go, and flashes blue to show the remaining battery percentage when not in use. That convenience can be a big timesaver for casual consumers, and removing the complexity makes this a great choice for someone’s first dry herb vape. 

That simplicity doesn’t mean that the VEAZY lets more experienced dry herb vape lovers down, though. You can still customize nearly everything about the VEAZY using the STORZ & BICKEL web app, from the base temperature and boost interval settings to the brightness of the LED. After getting the VEAZY just where you like it, the only thing between you and an ideal session is a single button press.

I learn how VEAZY does it 

I’ve spent a few days with the VEAZY at the time of writing, and the little vaporizer has certainly impressed me. I opted for the Charming Pink color (a vaporizer that can be reasonably described as cute? Sign me up!) and planned out a gauntlet of tests to put the VEAZY through its paces.

Here’s a short list of places I took my VEAZY during my week: The beach, thrift store, park, post office, dispensary, movie theater, bus, and of course, my bed. The VEAZY really does go anywhere you can go, allowing you to squeeze in a short session anytime the opportunity and inclination present themselves.

That convenience can be a big timesaver for casual consumers, and removing the complexity makes this a great choice for someone’s first dry herb vape. 

I found that the VEAZY became an everyday item to me, much like my headphones. I would charge the VEAZY overnight, load up the vaporizer and one of STORZ & BICKEL’s mega-convenient dosing capsules, and be set for a long day out and about. 

The vapor quality of the VEAZY is exceptional for a unit of its size and price point. While some portable vaporizers are forced to make a trade between flavor and vapor quantity, the VEAZY had me blowing big clouds while still enjoying the nuanced terpenes of my chosen strains. (Sky Master and Blue Nerds, in case you were wondering.) I prefer my vaporizers a little on the hot side, around 390℉, and found that the vapor from the VEAZY didn’t taste scorched or burnt, as some similar vaporizers can.  

All in all, the VEAZY is a super cute, incredibly easy-to-use dry herb vaporizer that expands the availability of STORZ & BICKEL quality to a lower price point. It’s streamlined without being simplistic, economical without cutting corners, and durable enough to stand up to a life getting tossed from bag to bag, which is good because you will want to take it everywhere.
